Muryo-ju

Muryo-ju is a special dish of soba buckwheat noodles served at Chikuro-en, a long-established soba restaurant in Kushiro City, uniquely mixed with sesame seed oil. It is not greasy at all, contrary to most people’s expectation, but very smooth and appetising, especially in summer when you may have less appetite.
