Iri-Yaki

Fresh local seafood and vegetables are cooked together in one hot pot. The ingredients are first fried in rapeseed oil, giving the dish its name (‘Iri’ means ‘to fry’ in Japanese). The flavoring varies wildly according to region and household. The dish is often served at weddings and other celebrations.
