The traditional preserved foods a strolling monk and Totsukawa yeoman didn't miss
Yubeshi
I think there are a lot of people who remember a Japanese confection when I say "YUBE SHI", "citron BE SHI" transmitted around Nara-ken Totsukawa-mura, citron, after cutting the upper part, the contents are cored, and they're fermented soybean paste and the traditional preserved foods which wrap it and a shiitake mushroom and soybeans pack various topping material and make them dry, and are made. When cutting it and eating thin just as it is, the taste with which the flavor of the citron and the fermented soybean paste agrees fits a liquor appetizer. When eating as an attendant of wine, it's recommended to load cheese down and eat.
