Kurikinton
Kurikinton is one of the premium Japanese sweets made with chestnuts, which is a specialty of Minotoubu in Gifu Prefecture. It is made with only chestnuts and sugar simmered together, no water added to it but kurikinton is done good and moist. It is not as sticky as the one for osechi. It is shaped like a chestnut, and it is not too sweet but very tasty. There are many chestnut farmers in Ena region, and each home makes kurikinton with kuzukuri in autumn.

- Team chestnuts and cut into halves

- Scoop the inside
- 3.
- Add sugar to chestnuts, and mix well
- 4.
- Put the chestnuts mixture in a pot, heat at low heat, add salt and keep mixing until it gets thicken.
- 5.
- Put a spoonful in a wet cloth, wrap and shape it like a chestnut
