“Curry rice with pear” is a curry with Kuki city’s specialty pears. Pear puree is added to bring sweetness and richness to the curry, resulting the very mild taste. Apples has been the most known fruit to add to the curry and it is very original to use pear instead. Pears used for this menu are mostly out of standard with damages so they can not be shipped to the market. Not only Kuki has developed a new menu but also found a way to utilize the food waste.
