Ajibukashi
Ajibukashi is a rice dish specially prepared for Boy’s Festival in Japan (May 5), cooked with a variety of seasonal ingredients - konjac, carrots, dried shiitake mushrooms, gobo burdock, bamboo shoots, and fried tofu (locals recommend to choose the one made by Ho-noki Tofu shop in Ichinoseki City). The green bean garnish adds extra colour to the special dish.
