A very enjoyable dish of fresh Shirasu
Namashirasudon
Namashirasudon is a delicacy dish of fresh shirasu which is served only when shirasu is in season while shirasudon made with boiled shirasu can be found all year around. Namashirasudon is served with a spoon to "Mix all up well with ginger and shoyu, and eat up." However, I found it too delicious to eat it up quickly, so I slowly enjoyed the sweetness of the fresh shirasu.
