Piping hot to the last piece
Ishi-yaki cuisine
The fresh local seafood of Tsushima and seasonal vegetables are fried on top of a heated slab of local volcanic rock. The unadulterated flavors of the ingredients may be enjoyed this way. The dish originates from a practice by local fishermen to grill whatever they caught on a rock they would heat up on a bonfire.
