Squid ink is not very popular, but the ink of Iidako (octopus) is appreciated. Many local people eat iidako together with the ink. As they have a surprising amount of ink in their small body, your mouth becomes all black when you give a bite. This octopus has the good sides of both squid and octopus, and it is said that you will never forget the taste once you try it together with the ink.
