A delicacy of salmon fishermen
A rice bowl topped with salmons and salmon roes. There is a variety of Harako meshi in flavors and toppings. In some areas in Miyagi Prefecture, rice is cooked with salmon broth. The difference from “Salmon ikura don”is whether the rice is cooked with seasonings.
