Goemon Ramen

Goemon Ramen may not be so widely known, but the locals of Tono City, Iwate Prefecture, are a big fan of this spicy, tasty noodle dish. Among the many restaurants in the city that offer their original Goemon Ramen, the Chinese restaurant “Kiraku” located in Tsuchibuchi area is said to have been the first to serve the ramen. The bowl of Goemon Ramen served at Kiraku comes in a simple but rich soup, with thin noodles topped with spicy stir-fries of pork and vegetables. It is a more-ish taste of Tono.
