"Kanoya Kurobuta Curry" is a local delicacy from Kagoshima that uses safe and secure ingredients produced in Kanoya City in Kagohsima Prefecture and Osumi Peninsula. This dish was born along with the project of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries that promoted "local production for local consumption." The two definitions of Kurobuta curry is "to use ingredients from Osumi including rice" and "to use Kurobuta from Kanoya and Osumi" and restaurants and hotels that meet the conditions are certified as "restaurants that serve Kurobuta curry."
