Chiba prefecture has very active fishery and fish farming industries, because chiba has the Boso peninsula surrounded by the pacific ocean and Tokyo bay. Chiba also has Tone river crossing the prefecture. The choshi port in Boso peninsula is famous for the large amount of sardines caught. Sashimi and sushi sardines are delicious but also as an accompany food for Sake, Namero, Sangayaki and sardine ball soup are also so delicious. Sardines are easy spoiled, a produce such as dried sardines is also popular. Sardine is very healthy fish with much calcium which strengthen bones, Vitamin D which helps to absolve calcium and is rich in iron.
