Goshogawara Age Taiyaki

Age Taiyaki is now a popular local snack in Goshogawara City. As the name indicates, it is a deep-fried taiyaki fish-shaped cake stuffed with sweet red bean paste filling. Quite simple, but frying taiyaki makes its crust more chewy, more pleasant to bite into. The hot, crisp and chewy crust makes a great combination for the sweet bean paste inside.
