Asparagus Ramen

Asparagus Ramen is a popular bowl of ramen served at Club Shokudo, a restaurant in the Akakura hot spring area in Mogami Town. The unique noodles are kneaded with locally-grown asparagus, and served in tonkotsu pork bone-based soup seasoned with salt. The green of the chewy noodles contrasts nicely with the white of the thick, creamy tonkotsu soup. Coming with side dishes of asparagus, it is a specialty that many fans come back to the area for to fully enjoy the juicy and tender asparagus.
