Sakuradaikon no kasuduke

Kagoshima

Tasty pickles with a crispy and smooth texture and a rich aroma.

Sakuradaikon no kasuduke

Sakuradaikon has similar characteristics to turnips with its fine flesh that contains less fibers, and its sweetness. This is a representative farm product of Kagoshima Prefecture, and has been registered with the Guinness World Records as the biggest daikon in the world. "Kasuduke" is pickled daikon with sakekasu, and its crispy texture and rich aroma are very enjoyable. Its very fine and smooth texture and the rich aroma of sakekasu could be addictive. It obviously goes well with rice but also with sake and Japanese tea.
