Hodatsushimizu omu rice
Hodatsushimizu City in Ishikawa Prefecture is where a French cook, Shigeo Kitahashi was born, and "Hodatsushimizu omu rice" was developed as a new local food after him. There are many different types of omu rice served at each restaurant such as "omu udon" made with udon noodles, "ishiyaki bibimpap" at a Korean BBQ restaurant, "omu maki" wrapped with eggs from a sushi restaurant, and many other varieties.
