The bay of Hiroshima is surrounded by islands and capes, with low tide and appropriate amount of current, making a perfect condition for nursing oysters. Generally, oysters from Hiroshima are small yet springy and have rich taste. They are enjoyed local in various ways such as grilled, hot pot, deep fried, and with rice.
