Tacos

When they talk about fast food in Okinawa, it is always Tacos not hamburger or Gyudon. It is originated in Mexico, ingredients are wrapped in tortilla and eaten with juiced lime and salsa. Because Okinawa was under the U.S.A. After the world war II, tacos was eaten widely. Tacos is served in special restaurants, cafes and parlors and eaten very often. After 1980s, there are new type of tacos with rice not with tortilla. It is called Taco rice.
