Special-sauce marinated offal meat grilled on a barbecue pan
Kazuno Horumon is a mix of pork intestines, hearts, beef rumen and omasum, well-marinated in a special sauce. The peculiar sweetness of the sauce brings out the full flavour of the meat when grilled on a barbecue pan. The dish is prepared in a unique way – the sweet marinated meat is covered with a layer of cabbage that captures the appetising flavour of the ingredients. Some restaurants make the dish also using a barbecue grill, frying pan, or stew pot. Depending on your taste, other vegetables and tofu can add extra depth to the dish.
