Soup Curry
Soup Curry is said to have originally been made by adding curry flavour to soup prepared according to the principles of yakuzen, a Chinese food therapy to restore and nourish the body. It was created by an owner of a coffee shop in Sapporo City in the 1970’s, and gained great popularity among regular customers, while other restaurants followed the example. The locals come back for the appetising scent of the spices, and its benefit to warm their body.
